Journalist Inquiry Service

As part of our ongoing development of the ERS website, we are pleased to introduce a new initative – the Journalist Inquiry Service.

The general idea is to connect journalists who are seeking information or commentary about religion from a scientific/evolutionary perspective with the relevant experts in the field. This can be an important service for both journalists and ERS associates. Journalists will get access to the most current information and commentary on religion from a scientific/evolutionary perspective. ERS associates will get access to the press, providing a potential outlet for their own work.

Inquiries and journalist information will be emailed to ERS Members and posted on the ERS site, much as we are currently hosting articles for discussion. This will grant all ERS associates an opportunity to respond and to bounce ideas off each other. The journalist who made the inquiry can join the online conversation and strike up one-on-one conversations as s/he sees fit. (All the discussion will be password protected to prevent spam and other “distractions”).

Journalists: please email Ian MacDonald with all of your questions – the more specific the better – and include contact and affiliation details. Passwords for restricted site sections will be sent via email.

Head here to access inquiries and related discussion.
